Electro-Mechanical Engineer

The Electro-Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for the creation of detailed system requirement definitions, and detailed component, module, interconnect and equipment interface specifications with development oversight for new agricultural control, monitoring and electrically powered equipment products. This role will serve as the principal engineering advocate who will participate in the establishment of critical supply chains and partner-supplier development programs. The Electro-Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of system development and validation/verification acceptance activities through oversight and/or hands-on design, construction, test enablement and testing of prototypes, first articles and PPAP units ensuring that all design goals and requirements are met. Depending on experience and qualifications this may be done autonomously or under the direction of a lead project engineer. Responsibilities will include some engineering project and company program leadership. At least 5 years of experience in related role. Academic/organization related leadership roles . Direct responsibility for product definition, supply chain development, developing supplier enrichment, product testing/evaluation and subsequent refinement of products is preferred. Strong Agricultural professional experience and/or personal background is preferred *Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Prefer a Masters degree *Midwest and competive salary. - #09-842
