Quality Control Specialist

Utilize chemistry principles, modern analytical technology and best available industry practices to drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing facilities and within the Quality department for this producer of starch, syrups, and polyols. Manage and allocate lab resources. Modernize and upgrade QC lab analytical capabilities. Oversee installation and maintenance of new equipment as needed. Create and administer a metrology program. Create and deploy process control systems. Be available for on-call support. Job requires you to relocate to a rural eastern Iowa town of 10,000. Requires Master's Degree in Chemistry. PhD preferred. Requires 2 years experience in private industry, responsible for a QC or Manufacturing laboratory. - #04-968
