Controller

The successful candidate will be part of a team working with all the financial aspects of an agricultural CO-OP. Duties will include what are typically expected of a accountant up to the level of Controller, including gathering information from divisions, report preparation, financial analysis, budgeting, and preparing projections. This position will also include tax reporting in areas such as sales tax and property tax. They will be also working in other fields, such compiling information for insurance coverage, and also working with basic manufacturers on supply rebate programs. The company is looking for someone with a background and ability to do detail analysis work and identify areas where improvements in performance and efficiency can be made. The successful candidate will also be working with a newly established marketing division to establish controls and accounting for all grower payments. A strong candidate will be one that is well rounded in the many aspects of a feed or grain co-op; a person who is a self-starter and able to work independently, with a sense of urgency toward their work.
